STAR WISE JUNE 2019
Astrologers are basically cosmic traffic cops. They are able to tell us what the traffic is like (planetary phenomena) full moons, eclipses etc. They can help us in understanding the planetary energy, but they cannot alter fate. Whatever is written karma wise must come to pass. Although it sounds fatalistic, there is the law of mercy and grace that supersedes all other laws, karma and otherwise. We have been traveling and incarnating on the Earth and other planes of existence in various forms from mineral, to plant, to insect and animal, to human, and angel, gods and goddesses beyond what our limited minds can imagine. The theory of karma is so deep and so complex that the true Sant Guru’s tell us that we have not the power in our minds to truly comprehend its significance and complexities. Rest assured, we are the aliens, we are not from here, and our true home exists far beyond the sun, moon and other planes of existence far above the starry sky. Astrology can help us track and learn to deal with whatever we signed up for in previous incarnations. The true Sat Guru comes into our life and helps us to get cleaned up, and to learn to live and behave non violently, and respect and regard all of life as sacred and precious. All living beings have a soul which is part of God, no soul no life, plain and simple. People, think about it. We want to give the pigs, chickens, and other animals that are living in very cruel situations a better life. Then once we have them in a better situation we slaughter them and eat them anyway. This is the height of ignorance and hypocrisy in my book. While I’m on this rant, when will we ever eradicate the planet from all violent weapons, period, end of story. Get the guns and WMD off of the planet, now. If you want peace you must live peacefully with all of your neighbours, the birds, animals, humans. We can do this. Everything else that I’m seeing is a form of madness. Okay glad I got that off of my chest. Love one another right now. Lay your weapons down. Give your love, and never stop giving it, never, never. We are on our way home. The golden age is coming our way, and just like making ready for the wedding day, we must be cleaned up and in our best clothes. We cannot be walking tombs for assassinated animals and pleading for peace at the same time. It won’t work. Only love will do, only love.
ARIES
MARCH 21 – April 19

STAR WISE MAY 2019
The new moon and full moon take place in Taurus this month. Let’s dig into this sign a bit.
Taurus is a fixed / Earth sign. Generally the month of May represents one of the most beautiful times of the year. The crops are growing and all of nature is busy, and the birds and the bees are doing their thing. Life is sustained and stabilized. Well that’s the general story. This year we have Uranus visiting Taurus which may very well shake up the environment. Floods, storms, tornados, hurricanes, and you name it is surely going on. Each planet has a sign in which it can truly shine and bring on its best performance. It’s called the planet’s exaltation sign. Conversely, each planet has a detrimental sign in which it behaves badly, or just cannot wield its energy properly. I don’t think that there could be a more difficult combination of planet in sign than Uranus in Taurus. Likened to the activity that happens in nature, this type of energy will manifest in the boardrooms and bedrooms across the land as well. Anything that has become stagnant or stale, oppressive or repressive stands the chance of major upheaval. In our country we have big shake ups in Ottawa and the rest of the nation wrestles with very complex problems regarding the safety and ecology of the environment. Protests and counter protests will be on the menu for the foreseeable future. South of the boarder we have… well they have their hands full with The Donald running the show, and anything goes. Shift, shock, change and rearrange is the mantra of the times. We either make the changes, or nature will make them for us. Those born under the sign of Taurus are known to be pleasantly charming, warm and gracious, and very much attracted towards the good things in life. That is of course until you rile them up. Then it’s a different style. Ferdinand the bull is an apt symbol for Taurus. Tiptoeing through the tulips having a good time, as is the angry bull, ready to charge when provoked. Taurus has one way, (theirs). It’s my way or the highway is what truly happens when you go up against them. As one Taurus said,”I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken”. The guy was serious, and offended when others laughed about it. The new moon on May 4 provides the opportunity to make long term plans or to start something that will take sustained effort and cooperation in order to achieve ones goals. The full moon on May 18, will be powerful and dynamic as many realizations regarding what’s what in the world of politics, and world politics unravels its realities. One more note, the potential for forest fires is huge, as is the potential for accidents and incidents. Let’s try being more tolerant and patient with one another. One Love, One Blood, One Life.

The Aries New Moon takes place on April 5. It signals a new start in a new direction that will unfold over the next 30 days. Depending on your time of birth the New Moon will land in one of the houses of your birth chart. The houses are the fields of activity for the planets. There are various astrology sites on line that offer free birth charts. Once you have your birth chart in hand you can find out what house holds the sign Aries. From there, you can have an idea of what area of life will be activated by the New Moon. If you find yourself hitting the pavement looking for new employment it is highly likely that Aries will be ruling your tenth house area. If you’re making travel plans or on your way somewhere it is likely that your ninth house of travel is holding the sign Aries. The first house rules the self, and has much to do with how you appear to the world. STAR WISE MARCH 2019
In the light of recent events in Canadian politics we would conclude that last months Star Wise column was a real stinker. I had said that Trudeau’s chart was looking real good, and that it was indicating that he would be re-elected come the fall season. I will put my trust in the stars this time. Several months before Trump was elected I had predicted his win, and months later I got weak and folded to the intense media storm indicating that he had no chance to win. So I wrote a column just before the election saying that he couldn’t win. I bucked the stars, lost my faith, and the stars proved otherwise. Well, I won’t be tricked again. Possibly I will suffer the humiliation of being wrong if Trudeau gets the boot and we end up with a new Prime Minister at the end of the year. The stars say Trudeau, so I will stick to my guns, oops, I mean stars. One way or the other, regardless of who’s at the helm, here and down south things are going to get real hot, internationally, globally and every which way. We all fall down. Saturn and Pluto join up in Capricorn the sign of all government agencies. My prediction is that 2020, 2021, and 2022 will be the years of the greatest amount of tension and change in recent history. Presently we are witnessing the initial stages of a cleansing process of purification, by firstly lancing the cyst of poisonous and putrid good old boys club politics here, there and everywhere. Painful? You bet it is. But wholly and totally necessary in order for the healing process to begin. There’s nowhere to hide, nowhere to run. Those left standing, will only be standing because of their pristine behaviour unclouded and unblemished by greed and collusion, misdirection and all the rest of the wink wink BS that we have tolerated seemingly forever. Death and rebirth is on the menu, with hardly any other choices. Would you like fries with that? How about a slightly used wood splitter? A new world consciousness will birth out of all of this chaotic churning. We are one people on one planet, totally connected together, one to the other. Peace will be the new order, and as my great Guru Param Sant Kirpal Singh JI had said, that one day the truly enlightened ones will be in control. Presently everywhere we look, close and far, it seems that our leaders have lost their minds, and have been swallowed by greed, pride and avarice. A new day is dawning, and our part is to become humane beings, and truly start loving one another.

As much is it makes me nauseous to write about, let alone even think about Donald Trump, his magic carpet ride is over. The overwhelmingly powerful and dynamic planetary influences that swept him into power have melted away. I had predicted that he would win the election, although every other indication was saying no way he could win. But win he did, and the planet has nearly wobbled off of it’s axis ever since. The double Jupiter Dasa (planetary cycle) that blew open the doors for him, has shifted into a much more confining Saturn influence that will affect his fate until 2021. Trump’s new Saturn cycle began in January 2019 just as the democrats took over the house of representatives, and basically put a damper on all that he does, or attempts to do. The stage hook is close at hand. As my dear wife just reminded me, Saturn represents falls from high places, literally or figuratively. Although it may seem otherwise, I really don’t have the stomach for politics, but hey, while I’m at it, let’s talk about our illustrious leader, Justin Trudeau. Strangely and somewhat karmically, Trudeau begins a strong Jupiter Cycle one month before the federal elections this Fall. Plus on the day of the election Jupiter returns to the exact degree of longitude that it was in when Trudeau was born, pretty much ensuring his win. Possibly there’s someone out there that is radiating more planetary power, but I doubt it. So it looks like, out with Trump, and in with Trudeau. The hog in trough antics of some of our local BC representatives has been exposed, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we find ourselves heading for another visit to to polls. 2019 is truly just a prelude as to what is to come in 2020 as Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto get real close in Capricorn the sign of all government parties, agencies, offices, etc. My advice is to think hard and long in this 2019 time, and know that if there was ever a year in our history that will be of major consequence it will be 2020. Interestingly, 2020 is supposed to mean perfect vision, and we need to develop our vision and focus on what we truly want. Old regimes are crumbling, and new ground is developing. What will it be people? It’s time for a new birthing. Just a parting thought. If we’re not nurturing our soul by meditation, it won’t matter who’s at the helm, and we will continue to grumble and grind. A change in lifestyle and values is truly needed in order to attain Peace on Earth.
